Service Description

Dog behaviour issues take many forms, including barking, lunging, destructive behaviour and over-excitement. However, these are just symptoms. What is really causing these behaviours? Some common beliefs are that the dog is stubborn, naughty, badly behaved or lacks training. However, there are other, more likely, reasons. The dog may be in pain or discomfort. Or perhaps he is fearful or anxious. He might be unclear about what he is being asked to do, or not have the skills to handle the situation he finds himself in. The underlying reason(s) will depend on the individual dog and the circumstances in which that dog is placed. • Does the thought of walking your dog fill you with dread? • Is life at home frustrating and/or stressful? • Is your dog’s behaviour putting a strain on family relationships? • Does your dog’s behaviour make you feel emotional? If so, you have come to the right place! Resolving behaviour issues is important not only for the welfare of your dog, but also for the safety of others and your emotional well-being.
